Now, as well as adding extra shows in Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires due to popular demand, Bono and co have announced that they’ll be visiting Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, Milan, and London with support at all shows from Wolf Alice. They’ve promised that dates in Ireland, Spain and North America will be announced “soon”.

“We can’t say too much about the next leg of ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’ – we’re still figuring it out,” teased guitarist The Edge, “but what we can say is, we’ll be wrapping it up in Ireland. There’s nowhere else we’d want to be for that party.”

The band added: “’The Greatest Show on Earth’? Now that’s a throwdown. It’s a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody’s life.

“A bit of showman, a bit of shaman, a riot of colour, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto. Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are.”

Check out the band’s full 2027 dates so far below. Tickets for the UK and European dates for will first be available via U2.com Subscriber Presale, commencing on Monday November 2 at 10am and will also be available here.

The band have recently been in rehearsals for the stadium run with drummer Larry Mullen Jr., who took a live hiatus from the band after undergoing neck and back surgery in 2023, and subsequently sitting out of U2’s residency shows at the Las Vegas Sphere. He rejoined U2 last month for two surprise homecoming gigs in Dublin to mark the band’s 50th anniversary. They’ll also be playing an intimate London gig for the BBC next week.

U2 release ‘Carnaval De Luz’ on November 13. The album features the late, great Dolly Parton’s last ever recorded vocal on ‘Torn’, as well as ‘The Mirror Maker’ written in tribute to Rosalía.

Produced by Jacknife Lee, the 12-song collection tackles themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom and endurance, and comes on the heels of the group releasing two six-track EPs earlier this year: ‘Days Of Ash’ and ‘Easter Lily’. They’ve so far shared three singles with ‘Street Of Dreams‘, ‘Silencio’, and ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’.
