The Pretty Reckless have unveiled a bonus version of their song “About You” that features Foo Fighters members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.

The track “About You” originally appeared on The Pretty Reckless’ latest album, Dear God, which was released this past June. The updated version features Grohl on drums and vocals, with Smear on guitar.

The infectious tune has a power-pop vibe, with Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen handling the verses, and Grohl joining in on the chorus. The two also engage in a call-and-response vocal during the song’s bridge.

Momsen stated, “‘About You’ is one of my favorite songs on the record, so I wanted to do something special. I called Dave and Pat and asked them if they’d lend their magic to it. It was an amazing time in the studio making music, there’s nothing better than jamming with friends. I couldn’t be happier with the result.”

The Pretty Reckless recently wrapped up a tour supporting AC/DC. The band was unable to make two of the shows due to scheduling conflicts, and Foo Fighters filled in, with Grohl living out a boyhood dream by performing “Highway to Hell” with the headliners during the tour’s explosive final show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Next month, The Pretty Reckless will kick off a UK/European tour (pick up tickets here), and in late January they’ll support Foo Fighters at two shows in India. Foo Fighters, meanwhile, will embark on an Australian tour in November and Sout American outing in February.
