Noodles of The Offspring says he is steeping away from live performances for the immediate future “to deal with a sudden and fairly serious health issue.”

The guitarist posted a statement on the band’s social media pages, writing the following:

“It is with deep sadness that I have to announce that I need to step away from live performances for a while to deal with a sudden and fairly serious health issue.

The rest of the band has my back, is super supportive, and will keep rocking you all in my absence. I hope to be back on stage sooner rather than later. Until then, I will miss all of you with all of my heart.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. I really appreciate it.

– Noodles”

The Offspring currently have a handful of upcoming shows, including a gig this Saturday, October 24th, at the Rock 2 Freedom benefit at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Also on their schedule is a November 6th date at SEMA Fest in Las Vegas; a November 21st set at Corona Capital fest in Mexico City; and a January 16th appearance at iHeartRadio’s ALTer Ego 2027 concert.
