Every month, Consequence looks back on the last few weeks to put a spotlight on our favorite new albums and releases with Staff Picks. Check out all of the best albums of October 2026 below.
It’s already November of 2026, and at Consequence, that means we’re looking back at all the great new music, movies, and TV shows from this year. Luckily, on the musical front, October 2026 gave us some incredible albums to savor through the end of the year and beyond.
There were killer returns from former CoSigns, like Remi Wolf’s breathtaking new LP Mud and Wishy’s absurdly catchy new album Nature’s Pill. Some heavyweights came back with a bang: Queens of the Stone Age have offered the wistful Perfecth, Fontaines D.C. mined 21st century dystopia for the caustic, clever Dopamine Chamber, and Troye Sivan released his best album yet with the stylish She’s the Best. There’re plenty of future stars reflected in this month’s list as well, with newcomers @, Sophia Stel, and Worldpeace DMT providing some great new works.
