The Patriots will be without A.J. Brown for a while.

The star receiver went down with a high ankle sprain in the 13-10 season-opening loss to the Seahawks, and it is expected that Brown will be placed in injured reserve.

He would be out a minimum of four games as a result, putting him out through at least Week 5 as he recovers from the injury.

Expect the Patriots to roll out receivers Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins, and one of Kyle Williams or Demario Douglas as the third receiver.

More to come on this breaking news story.
