The book also features an introduction penned by comic-book legend Bill Sienkiewicz, who has collaborated with Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson in the past, as well as an extensive interview with Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith about the creation of the album conducted by Dave Shack of Phantom.
“It’s just a great version of Eddie, my favorite version of Eddie probably,” stated Smith. “There’s a real power there, you know, a genuine power and menace. He’s very muscular isn’t he? He looks like he’s been working out. Like I say, it complements the music, which is fantastic.”

The retail edition features three covers, with Jay Geldhof’s available exclusively via EMP and Dan Mumford’s exclusive to Rarewaves while Tony Harris’ is for all other retailers.
