The controversial rise of Andrew Tate, a promoter of toxic masculinity across social media platforms, will be the subject of an upcoming Investigation Discovery docuseries.

The four-parter, Andrew Tate: Toxic Empire, is set to debut Nov. 25 on ID and follows Tate and his brother, Tristan, in July 2026 being arrested and jailed in Miami as British authorities seek their extradition on rape and sex trafficking charges.

The ID docuseries will examine claims of abuse, sexual assault and sex trafficking as it charts “Andrew’s meteoric rise as an influencer and examines the allegations of predatory business endeavors that funded the global empire he created with his brother,” according to a synopsis.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are former kickboxers who built a large online following by sharing extreme masculine and misogynistic content. Andrew Tate first rose to prominence on the U.K. reality show Big Brother in 2016, only to be removed after just six days in the house after footage surfaced appearing to show him attacking a woman.

The brothers, who were born in the United States and moved to the United Kingdom as children, hold dual citizenship. They are under criminal investigations in Britain and Romania. The Tate brothers were charged with 21 crimes in the U.K., including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

The ID docuseries will feature male followers of the Tate brothers, insiders, alleged survivors, investigative journalists and archival footage of Andrew Tate. The series also promises to take viewers inside a so-called War Room, or an international network founded by Tate for wealthy and ambitious men, and the Tate brother’s webcam business and “PhD” (“Pimping Hoes Degree”) course which former participants allege taught men coercive methods to recruit women into webcamming for profitable gain.

Andrew Tate: The Toxic Empire is directed and produced by Julian P. Hobbs, Elli Hakami and Adrian Murray for Investigation Discovery. The docuseries will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
