Dylan is currently out on the road in the US. Last month, two of the musician’s long-serving guitarists – Bob Britt and Doug Lancio – left his touring band. Britt subsequently explained his departure, confirming that he was “not fired” by Dylan.
Recently, the tour has seen Dylan perform ‘I Shall Be Released’ for the first time in 18 years and revive ‘You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere’ following its last live outing in 2012.
Bob Dylan’s latest official release was 2025’s ‘Bootleg Series Vol. 18: Through The Open Window, 1956-1963’. Last summer, it was reported that Dylan had been working on new music with “members of his band” in Albany, New York.
In other news, the 85-year-old musician has shared his thoughts on ageing, saying that one of the benefits of getting older is that “you outlive the clocks that have been chasing you”.
