Bills captain Bradley Chubb had to be held back from going after at least one Ram following Buffalo’s big win on Monday night after he says a Los Angeles player “swung” on him.
During an exclusive interview with the California Post, Chubb said that just after the Bills beat the Rams 37-34 in overtime at SoFi Stadium, someone on LA’s side threw a punch at him while the teams were congregating at midfield.

“It was a close game,” Chubb said of the incident to The Post. “And, you know, they always catch the second guy, so I let him swing and my teammates held me back and I just chilled.”
Chubb would not say which Rams player he quarreled with, explaining, “That’s not on me to tell who. There’s cameras out there. I just know I’m ready for next week.”
Video from the scene captured by ESPN cameras appeared to show Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson hitting Chubb in the face amid a dispute. Further footage showed Chubb yelled at somebody and walked their direction before injured Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett stopped him. Several of Chubb’s teammates were also seen pulling the Buffalo star away from the area.
Chubb, though, still tried to go after the Rams player, but he ultimately turned away after exchanging some words with LA tight end Colby Parkinson.
Chubb declined to say whether or not the punch connected, but he did confirm he was uninjured.
“You see I’m smiling,” he said. “I’m with my team. I’m turnt. We’re ready for next week.”
