Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats have unveiled a new single titled “Don’t Let It Control You” ahead of a new album that is set to be released sometime in 2026.

The single features a driving and direct rock song in the vein of Queens of the Stone Age or the Stooges through a hazy Sabbathian filter. A B-side, “Don’t Let It Control You Part II,” is essentially the same song slowed and rendered in acoustic guitar, harp and Wurlitzer piano.

A physical release for the single is slated for May 29th via Killer Candy Recordsm with pre-orders available here. This is the band’s first 7″ single since 2016’s “Pusher Man,” a song from their 2015 album The Night Creeper.
