Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams took the stage at the 2026 Golden Globes for their first appearance at an award show following the viral success of Heated Rivalry.
The duo’s appearance was teased ahead of the award ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser, amid the breakout hit, the Crave series, which was on HBO Max.
As Storrie took the stage, he acted nervously, as he was about to present in a room with the likes of Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, among many other Hollywood stars. Williams went back and offered him reassurance, holding him as they stepped in front of the microphone.
“Hi, I’m sorry. It’s a little nerve-wracking here, being at our very first Golden Globes,” Storrie nervously said.
“Just take a deep breath and picture everyone in the audience… you know…,” Williams said, with Storrie confused by what he meant.
After Storrie understood what Williams meant, he added, “Yeah, I don’t really know if that works, considering everyone’s seen us… You know.”
The duo was alluding to their highly sexual scenes that have been eye-opening to many viewers who have streamed the series.
Storrie and Williams went on to present the award for Best Supporting Female Actor in a TV Series, which was taken by Adolescence’s Erin Doherty.
Williams and Storrie became breakout stars, headlining the Jacob Tierney-created series, playing hockey players Shane Hollander andIlya Grigoryevich Rozanov. The show, based on the Rachel Reid novel series, follows two rival hockey players who have animosity on the ice rink but share a secret romance behind closed doors.
Williams recently signed with CAA following the sensation of Heated Rivalry. The series has already been renewed for a second season by Crave, with HBO Max on board to stream the new episodes when they become available. The six-episode first season of Heated Rivalry is available to stream in full on HBO Max.
