Tyler, the Creator celebrated his six nominations with a performance of “Thought I Was Dead” and “Sugar on My Tongue” at the 2026 Grammys.

Tyler started by marching to stage in his Chromakopia getup, flanked by similarly-dressed soldiers, before the broadcast cut to black and white. Then, after an outfit change and a spoken-word interlude from Regina King, the rapper jumped into a red sports car for “Sugar on My Tongue.” And then he blew up the stage. It’s a busy evening for Tyler, the Creator, who received nominations for two separate studio albums from the last two years: 2024’s Chromakopia and 2025’s Don’t Tap the GlassChromakopia received nods for Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, and Best Album Cover, with “Darling, I” and “Sticky” being nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, respectively. Meanwhile, Don’t Tap the Glass earned a nod for Best Alternative Music Album.
