EXCLUSIVE: Production has wrapped in New York on the indie feature Old Soul, which stars Gus Birney (Black Rabbit), Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black), Michael Esper (Frances Ha), and Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things). 

Daniel Moya (18½, Rental) is the writer-director. The film’s cast is rounded out by Leer Leary (Fallout), Taylor Hunt Wright (You Gotta Believe), Emily Chastain (A House of Dynamite), Brian Dole (The Boys in the Band), Maryelizabeth O’Donnell (Most Guys Are Losers), Carter Feuerhelm (Scroll Back), Patrick Wolber, Marc Palmieri (Too Much Sleep) and Ben Gust. 

The film follows Paul, whose independent life crumbles, forcing him to retreat to his childhood home. Once there, he confronts the erasure of a life he thought he’d be able to return to.

Old Soul is produced by Matt Harvey (You Gotta Believe), Daniel Moya, and Joshua Elias Palmer (Transcendent, Worldbuilding). Executive Producers are Lisa Rettew, Birney, Reiner, Esper, and Curtin. Co-Executive Producer is Taylor Hunt Wright.
