Mitski Announces New Album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, Shares “Where’s My Phone?”: Stream

Mitski has announced her new album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, and revealed its lead single, “Where’s My Phone?” Stream it below.

Out on February 27th via Dead Oceans, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me will feature Mitski accompanied by a live band and orchestra. According to a press release, the LP will find the singer “immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house.”

The first glimpse at the album is “Where’s My Phone?,” a massively energetic track with a wide range of sounds and energy. With its glamorous, fuzzy rock and cartoonish aesthetic, it matches the accompanying video and concept that’s as psychedelic as it sounds. Watch the Noel Paul-directed visual below.
