Coinciding with the 35th anniversary of Smashing Pumpkins’ debut album Gish, Sumerian Records has announced a new tribute album honoring Billy Corgan’s rock band.
Entitled Sending Hearts To All My Dearies – A Tribute To The Smashing Pumpkins and arriving digitally on August 14th (with a vinyl release following on October 16th), the album contains 15 cross-genre covers of songs spanning every ear of Pumpkins’ discography. Contributors include Tame Impala, Alice Glass, Nita Strauss, Yonaka, Des Rocs, Meg Myers, Between The Buried and Me, and Palaye Royale, among others.
