Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue are starring in a new film together, it has been confirmed.
While the two are better known for their respective work behind the camera and as a pop star, they are joining forces for an untitled project from Welsh director Jamie Adams, according to Variety.
Details including plot are unknown at the moment, though Tarantino and Minogue were seen filming together in the town of Porthcawl in Wales, which included funeral and wake scenes.
Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell, Siwan Morris and Karen Paullada are among the other stars appearing in the project, the latter sharing a few behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram – though none with Tarantino and Minogue.
“Awesome filming with @juleslewisjones @craigrussell1977 @morrissiwan and other legends,” she wrote. “All steered and put together by the one and only @jdadams1.”
Tarantino and Minogue have also worked with Adams on Only What We Carry, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Festival and features Simon Pegg, Sofia Boutella, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lizzy McAlpine.

Earlier this month, director Tarantino shared a scathing assessment of modern Hollywood, suggesting it was “a flavourless sausage factory”.
“Since the pandemic … it seems almost impossible for a new movie to come out that I don’t pick to death,” he wrote in Sight & Sound. “Flaws, implausibilities, audience pandering, miscast performers or just plain stupid shit usually torpedoes every new movie coming out of the flavourless sausage factory that used to call itself Hollywood.”
“These days, the entire concept of what is a movie is more inclined to inspire contempt in me than generosity. Which is fair enough, because by comparison the movies of the last six years make the ’80s seem like the ’30s.”
He then named 2021’s West Side Story, 2024’s Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1 & 2, and 2026’s The Rip as films he has enjoyed in recent years.
Tarantino is prepping a new play called The Popinjay Cavalier, which is due to premiere in London’s West End next year.
Meanwhile, last month Minogue revealed in her Netflix documentary series Kylie that she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time in 2021, which followed her first diagnosis in 2005.
