Kim Kardashian stole the show at the Monaco Grand Prix, and that didn’t please everybody.
Kardashian was there cheering on her her Formula 1 driving boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, who finished second in the race.
It was the first time Kardashian watched Hamilton live in the paddocks and it was an adjustment that did not sit well with some of the other wives and girlfriends of drivers.
“Some of the other WAGs thought Kim totally took over Monaco,” a source told The Sun. “It’s like the circus came to town, even the F1 Instagram account was posting about her. Many wives and girlfriends are influencers, and races are their opportunity to shine. But all anyone spoke about was Kim.”
A video on social media showed Kardashian chatting with Alexandra Saint Mleux, the 24-year-old wife of Hamilton’s teammate Charles LeClerc.
However, some claim that Kardashian snubbed her during the mid-race conversation.
With the 45-year-old Kardashian in attendance, Hamilton finished six seconds behind Italian driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli for Mercedes. With the second-place finish, Hamilton helps keep Ferrari in second place in the constructors’ standings. The strong finish also keeps Hamilton in second place in the driver standings.
When Hamilton stood upon the podium, it appeared he blew a kiss toward Kardashian. After the race, Hamilton opened up for the first time about his relationship with Kardashian.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” Hamilton said. “But, you know, with my friends, incredible turnout, just overall, the people. It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
Kardashian and Hamilton have been reportedly dating since early 2026. The two were seen together at both the Super Bowl and Coachella in April.
Hamilton was asked about the relationship at preseason testing in Bahrain in February, but he did not delve into details, calling it his “private life.”
Hamilton and F1 will move to their next race in Barcelona this Sunday. Whether Kardashian will be in attendance for that race is unknown.
