“F*ck Gravity! Blow it Up! In this grave world of greed, injustice and trouble, we’ve got to learn to love ourselves and each other. We are strong, beautifully diverse, layered beings – each and every one of us – yes, that means YOU too! And we hold visions of utopias in our hands. From birth, to death, to rebirth, we sow our seeds of hope & revolution. Together, we will overcome trauma and division. We don’t care what “type” of women we are, we’re planets, we’re SPACE GIRLS!”
SKIP&DIE Live Experience:
This unique group is looking forward to visit South Africa at the end of August / beginning of September 2015. During this time they will be working on a Red Bull Goodwill project and perform in Gauteng and Cape Town. Their spectacular and colourful live shows and world music sound sets them apart from anything South Africa’s stages have experienced.
More details regarding the tour schedule to be announced soon.

The live band has grown into a tight and vibrant group featuring Jori Collignon (percussion, synths), Daniel Rose (sitar, guitar, saz), Gino Bombrini (percussion) and Cata.Pirata’s vocals and phenomenal stage presence. Thanks to the group’s relentless energy, SKIP&DIE was the highlight of the famous French festival Les Transmusicales de Rennes in December 2012 and went on to conquer the biggest stages and festivals in Europe: Eurosonic, The Great Escape, Les Femmes s’en mêlent, Le Printemps de Bourges, Where The Wild Things Are, Amsterdam Dance Event, Art Rock and Europavox, to name but a few. Summer 2013 festivals included Sonar (ES), Solidays and Vieilles Charrues (FR), Parkpop (NL), Paléo (CH), Pohoda (SK), Esperanzah & Les Ardentes (BE), Sziget (HU) and many more.
The Cosmic Serpents Album:
SKIP&DIE released an exhilarating second album Cosmic Serpents in March. They lure their audiences into a landscape somewhere between paradise, the apocalypse and beyond.
The album was written and recorded in Brazil, Egypt, Argentina, Colombia, La Reunion Island, South Africa, Portugal and the Netherlands. It incorporates a rich variety of musical styles (from digital cumbia, creole maloya, brazilian rasterinha and electro chaabi – to dub, footwork and psychedelic rock) which have been inventively merged into an intimately layered SKIP&DIE universe.
The SKIP&DIE album, Cosmic Serpents, is now available on iTunes.
