Ad World, created and directed by Max Cohn and Ellie Sachs, is one of several digital short comedy series produced by Stapleview. The company, which was founded by Sam Grey in 2022, has been focused recently on growing the following for its online comedy shows, which also include Bareback Acres, The Method, Clear the Air, and Beautiful Questions.
“Led by the incredible vision of Ellie Sachs and Max Cohn, and brought to life by a hilarious cast, Ad World is a first of its kind digital comedy series: living up to traditional quality standards while using new forms of distribution,” Grey said. “It has been so exciting to see the great response and broad reach that Ad World has garnered, and to top the show off with a finale featuring the one and only Richard Kind is a true honor for us at Stapleview.”

Stapleview first emerged as the name of a Tik-Tok-focused comedy show created by Grey, who formerly worked at Management 360 and is the son of late comedy manager and Paramount Pictures CEO Brad Grey. It has since expanded into a full-fledged production company, focused mainly on digital platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
The company has since expanded to also include a management division that represents clients including SNL’s Jane Wickline, Wild’n Out’s Joey Dardano, and The Night Agent’s Elise Kibler.
