The U.S. has been playing from behind almost the entire weekend at the Presidents Cup. Playing captain Tiger Woods, with partner Justin Thomas, gave the seven-time defending champions a 1-0 lead in Melbourne, only to watch the International side take the next four matches.

An American rally on Saturday in Australia made a full comeback manageable with the competition moving to singles play on Sunday (Melbourne time).

Once again, Woods will try to get the U.S. off to a quick start as he leads off the one-on-one matchups.

The Internationals last won the Presidents Cup in 1998. Captain Ernie Els’ side is well-positioned to end that drought on a chilly day Down Under.

Woods is looking to not only give his team momentum, but also break a tie with Phil Mickelson for most Presidents Cup wins.
