Former Live Nation VP is the inaugural winner of the Chip Hooper Award
Touring executive Kelly Stelbasky is the newest hire for AEG’s global of touring, serving as senior vice president of the division run by AEG Presents president of global touring and talent Gary Gersh.
“The significant worldwide growth and expansion of AEG Presents these past few years has created the need for additional seasoned executives like Kelly,” said Gersh. “There is no person more suited to step into this position and nobody more qualified to help us build our artist development strategy and global touring plans for our artists.”
Stelbasky joins AEG Presents after working as vp of U.S. concerts for Live Nation where she won the inaugural Chip Hooper Award at the Billboard Live Music Awards in 2018. Stelbasky worked with Hooper in the Monterey Pennisula Artists offices starting in 2005 before going to Live Nation, where she booked and operated stadium, arena, and amphitheater concert tours in North America.
She has worked with a number of high profile clients inlcuiding Zac Brown Band, John Mayer, Dead & Company, Twenty One Pilots, Kings Of Leon, Lizzo and FINNEAS, among others. She also built and lead strategic relationships with key internal and external partners to support client objectives, increase client retention, and establish the foundation for future projects while completing her MBA studies in 2016 from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, focusing on strategy and data analytics.

Stelbasky will be based in AEG Presents’ Los Angeles headquarters.
