Guns N’ Roses showed their love of Black Sabbath in a big way at the “Back to the Beginning” concert in Birmingham, England, on Saturday (July 5th), as they loaded their set with covers of four of the legendary metal band’s songs.
Axl Rose and company performed Sabbath’s “It’s Alright,” “Never Say Die,” “Junior’s Eyes,” and “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” before playing their own classics “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Paradise City.”
GN’R’s performance preceded sets by Metallica, Ozzy, and Sabbath, and followed performances by Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Gojira, and others, as well as a couple of all-star superjams. You can find our full coverage here.
