The first of two super jams at the “Back to the Beginning” final Black Sabbath concert on Saturday (July 5th) in Birmingham, England, featured Disturbed’s David Draiman, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Ugly Kid Joe’s Whitfield Crane, and Yungblud singing Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne covers, backed by an all-star cast of musicians.
Lzzy Hale sang Ozzy’s “Ultimate Sin,” while Draiman sang Ozzy’s “Shot in the Dark” and Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf,” backed by such musicians as Anthrax’s Scott Ian, ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, Faith No More’s Mike Bordin, Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt, onetime Ozzy guitarist Jake E. Lee, Sabbath keyboardist Adam Wakeman, and more. Crane took on “Believer,” and Yungblud sang Sabbath’s “Changes,” as Anthrax’s Frank Bello and Sleep Token’s II also joined in on the all-star jam
The super jam took place after individual mini sets from Mastodon, Rival Sons, Anthrax, Halestorm, and Lamb of God.
