Good news for cupcake lovers who like ordering sweets like they’re withdrawing money from a bank. They no longer need to wait in line to purchase the freshly baked treats.

The bakery chain Sprinkles Cupcakes has opened an “ATM” by the food court entrance at Westfield Topanga mall at 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Canoga Park.

Sprinkles debuted its first Cupcake ATM in 2012 and now it’s expanding its footprint with the launch of three brand new dispensaries citywide.

Currently, the number of cupcake ATMs totals 23 locations across the nation- more than the number of its bakeries, according to the company’s press release.

A vending machine stocks dozens of cupcakes and dispense them with a smoothness motion of a mechanic hand, picking up cupcakes from shelves and dispensing them in a tiny window.

The whole process sets into motion after a customer swipes a credit card and makes a selection from a range of flavors which include vanilla, milk chocolate and red velvet.

Other Cupcake ATM’s locations in the San Fernando Valley include Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks and The Americana at Brand in Glendale.
