Only one game remains in the 2019 college football regular season: The Army-Navy Game.
The Midshipmen enter this game at 9-2 and as 11.5-point favorites over the 5-7 Black Knights team, but you can throw the records out when these two teams meet. Army has won this rivalry in each of the last three seasons by an average margin of four points per game. That came after a 14-year win streak by Navy.
Both these teams run the triple-option, which should result in shorter overall game time and tons of rushing yards. Navy (360.8 rushing yards per game) and Army (311.7 rypg) have the nation’s first- and second-ranked rush offenses, respectively, but don’t be surprised if either team tries to catch the other off guard with a well-timed long pass attempt.
Navy quarterback Malcolm Perry has completed 43 of 79 attempts this season for 1,027 yards and six touchdowns to three interceptions. Army quarterback Christian Anderson, meanwhile, will be making his first start in this game.
