Arizona Zervas’ streaming juggernaut “Roxanne” reaches the top slot on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart dated Dec. 7 with a 3-1 move.

The single climbs with across-the-board gains in the three metrics that power the Hot Rap Songs chart — streams, song downloads and radio airplay. “Roxanne” streams rise to 36.6 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Nov. 28, according to Nielsen Music, up 22% from the previous week.

The total easily keeps the track at No. 1 on the all-genre Streaming Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and Rap Streaming Songs charts for a second term each.

“Roxanne” gains in sales to 5,000 downloads registered in the week ending Nov. 28, up 12%, and maintains its No. 7 position on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart for a second week, after having reached No. 5.

Radio airplay also continues forward progress as “Roxanne” races 30-17 on the Rhythmic Songs airplay chart. The tune surges 73% in plays in the week ending Dec. 1, according to Nielsen Music. Movement in the pop sector also climbs with a 30-24 boost on the Pop Songs airplay chart through a 74% weekly improvement in plays on the format.

In addition to hitting No. 1 on Hot Rap Songs, “Roxanne” ascends 5-2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with the Airplay Gainer honor, while it zips 12-5 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. All three lists use the same methodology of a mix of sales, streams and radio play.

“Roxanne” activity helps Arizona Zervas make inroads on Billboard artist rankings. The 24-year-old, who signed with Columbia Records last month, steps 4-2 on the Emerging Artists list and 51-48 on the Billboard Artist 100.
