WOODLAND HILLS — One person was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills that closed three lanes of the freeway.
The crash occurred about 5 a.m. near the De Soto Avenue exit and involved a Nissan SUV and a Toyota, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A representative from the coroner’s office was called out to the scene at 5:27 a.m., the CHP said.
Details of what caused the crash or how the person died were not immediately available.
The No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway are slated to be closed until at least 9 a.m., the CHP said.
